How can you be sure he's not just in it for the satisfaction of getting one over on his alternate? I may not know him that well but it seems like something Loki would do.

I said I've taken him under my wing, not that I trust him. Of course I don't trust myself, I AM myself, I KNOW myself. But he is not untrustworthy at TIMES and I have the best means of navigating those moments by virtue of understanding his ways.

He informed me that he made attempts to speak with Stark to no avail. I doubt he will try again (not to make amends, simply TO talk) once spurned. In all honesty, Captain, he is one of the less violent Laufeysons I have come across.
