[ Seven years on from The Avengers fracturing and Steve is used to Tony Stark keeping his distance, so when another Iron Man assists with the extraction but doesn't stick around, Steve can only assume that he has his reasons. He tries not to dwell on what those reasons may be; there are plenty other things that require his attention. But he can't deny that the incoming message brings with it a fair amount of relief, like an exhale when he hadn't even realized he was holding his breath. ]
